Since her launching 'Dirty Deeds' has had encouraging performance in the results tables, the 2007 Coastal Classic (New Zealands premier coastal race from Auckland to Russell in the Bay of Islands) in which the boat was launched just one week before, it achieved a credible 2nd in division and 15th overall in a fleet of over 200 boats.
Following that another coastal race, this time south from Auckland to the port of Tauranga. In comparison to the Coastal Classic this proved to be a light airs race in which 'Dirty Deeds' prevailed to win overall line in both open multihull and 8.5 multihull divisions. (as shown in picture)
The 8.5m Class Nationals this year were held in conjunction with the BMW Auckland Race Week and in a close battle with a total of 11 8.5's 'Dirty Deeds' came out on top to take first place, making it 3 consecutive years holding the 8.5m National Championship Title.
More recently the NZMYC had their winter series prizegiving and here the results of a well campaigned 'Dirty Deeds' showed with a hat trick of first on line and handicap in the 8.5m division, and first on handicap in the open multihull division.
With over a year of sailing now under her belt 'Dirty Deeds' is showing promising performance and a positive future as we learn to get more out of the boat.
